The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use
What's On

In our last e-news we announced that the formerly-known NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Use (CREMS) would be moving to the University of Sydney. This week we're excited to unveil our new research centre; the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use! The Matilda Centre will build on the previous work of CREMS, delivering research programs to prevent, treat and reduce substance use and mental disorders. You can find out more about what's coming up at the centre below.

Introducing The Matilda Centre

With Professor Maree Teesson

"We are delighted to be joining the University of Sydney. The Matilda Centre brings together world-leading researchers, clinicians and community to share skills, synergise data, harness new technologies and trial innovative programs for mental and substance use disorders. The vision of the University in driving innovative world-class research is outstanding and its dedication to translating that research into real-world change is what attracted us to the University."
