We are in the process of slating next year’s Music Guild Board, and we would love to have you join us. We are currently seeking to fill the positions of Vice President/President-Elect, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary, Hospitality Chair, and Senior Showcase Chair.
This is a worthwhile and rewarding opportunity, allowing you to help the Music Conservatory, benefit all of our wonderful students, and meet parents from all ensembles.

Donate to School Trips
Exciting trips are planned for BTWHSPVA music students. The Jazz Singers, known as VINYL, are returning finalists at the Monterrey Next Generation Jazz Festival in April 2019. The Jazz & Midi ensembles will be attending the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in May 2019 and have been invited to perform with Trumpet Mafia, and Band & Orchestra are going to New York City to play at Carnegie Hall in March 2020. Please support these students by making a donation toward the trips via PayPal. You can choose which trip from the drop-down menu on the PayPal site.
More Information About the Carnegie Hall/New York Trip
The 20th annual National Youth Concert awarded the Booker T. Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall in March 2020. This concert allows Booker T. students, some have never left the North Texas region much less flown outside the state, the opportunity to perform on one of the most prestigious concert stages in the world but also to touch American history with tours of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Economic reality of our student body requires enormous fundraising to make this horizon-broadening trip possible. Please help our students envision their future as musicians while connecting to the rich past of our country. Your generous, tax-deductible gift makes this trip possible. Coming soon, The Grand Concert! As you know The Grand Concert is the final BTW performance in which seniors will have an opportunity to participate. Often it is an emotional night for parents and seniors alike. Commemorate the evening with a farewell ad for your senior in The Grand Concert program.
