NRBDO Spring Forum 2019
Saturday, April 27

THE WESTIN TORONTO AIRPORT HOTEL
950 Dixon Rd. Toronto, ON
For many of our member patient groups, emergency room visits are inevitable, and scary.

Having Emergency Room Protocols in place can be the difference between life and death.

Our focus at this year's Spring Forum will be on Emergency Room Protocols, with a presentation from the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) on how they decide to endorse and disseminate protocols across the country, submitted by patient groups like ours, as well as best practices in developing protocols. There will also be a workshop for member groups to start developing their protocols together, with guidance from the CAEP representative.

Given the format of this year's forum, member groups are encouraged to invite additional board members and/or medical advisors including nurses in order to take full advantage of this opportunity.

As always, the NRBDO will pay for the travel costs of 2 reps per member group. Additional representatives and/or medical advisors/nurses affiliated with your organization can participate who either live locally or with travel expenses covered by the member group. No registration costs will be charged for these additional attendees.

As usual, the Sunday morning meeting will be for members only, including 2 representatives each.

RSVP deadline: March 1st, 2019
Please join us. Register today.

Please note - the travel policy has been updated for 2019.
