Jozo Apparel
Last Weekend for Pick-up & Sizing!
2019 Jozo Apparel
Items ordered in January will be available for pickup at the Inn on Saturday and Sunday this weekend in the Kandahar room.  This will be the last weekend to do so, so please look out for Shannon Smith!

2020 Team Jackets
We are excited with our new line up for next year featuring Karbon!!! In addition to team jackets, we are excited to expand our Jozo branded line up to include Team Jackets (now available in Adult sizing and Ladies cut), Insulator Jackets, Race Shorts, Full Zip Ski Pants, and Jozo Branded Race Suits (including Pink accents for Ladies edition)!!!

A special note to U14/U16/U19 racers and their parents. The Club is strongly encouraging all racers to wear Jozo Team Jackets for all training and race events to show their team pride.  We know that sizing has been an issue in the past, but now that adult sizing and ladies cut is being offered, we encourage all of our athletes to lead by example and wear their Jozo Team Jackets with pride!

Please note that this is the LAST weekend that samples of these items will be showcased for sizing purposes. Make sure to stop by and get your racer sized and outfitted for next season! All items and sizes are available on our Online Store for late fall 2019 delivery. Please note that all orders are final so please try on for sizing before ordering.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST WEEKEND THAT SAMPLES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SIZING!
Send Us Your Photos!!!
Send your Photos & Videos for the End of Year Video!
One of the highlights of the Awards Banquet is the End of Year Video. This year will be extra special with some highlights from the last 25 years as well as photos and videos of our athletes this season.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to gather photos and videos.

Please upload any athlete photos and videos from this season here:  Jozo 2019 25th Anniversary Season Album

Please upload photos and videos from the previous 25 years here:  Jozo 25th Historical Photos Album

Please upload files by midnight on February 24th and please only upload a few special photos!

A special thanks to Zoran Cvetkovic for putting together the End of Year Video!

Please be sure that you have permission from those in the picture to share with everyone including the video slide show at our banquet. No downloading of photos is permitted, just uploading to the album. Only those with a link can add photos to the albums and see photos that are in the album.

We would like to apologize in advance for not being able to use all of the photos submitted. It is our goal to provide a wide cross section of photos from all to highlight this season and the past 25 years.

Thank you in advance for your contributions!!!
Calling for Volunteers!!!
Our 1-Day Club Championship Races are this weekend, and our 2-Day SOD/OCUP and Masters Club Championship Races are next weekend.  Please see Blue Mountain Corner at the bottom of this newsletter for more details.

While we encourage all parents to come out and cheer for all of our racers, we also need volunteers to be able to safely and effectively run these races.  Getting enough volunteers for home races has been a challenge this year, and the Volunteer Committee will explore ways to increase volunteerism in future seasons, but in the meantime, please remember that we cannot run races without volunteers and are required to have a minimum number of volunteers on the course not only for safety, but to run a successful event. You don't have to have an athlete in the race to volunteer.  In fact, you may prefer to volunteer for a race where your athlete is not participating, so you can then watch your athlete's race.

Please do your part and volunteer here.

Family Day Weekend
We Hope You Had A Good Time!
Thanks to everyone who attended this past weekend's Family Day Activities at Blue Mountain.

The Saturday morning group photo was a huge success! We had everyone there including alumni, masters racers, parents, coaches, and athletes (even one dog attended!). Special thanks to Blue Mountain Resort and Brian Hunt Visual for making this happen and thanks to all that attended! We will share the link to photos and video taken by the Brian Hunt Visual as soon as it is available.

Thanks to everyone for bringing so much food for our annual potluck! We had over 40 families bring something to share with plenty of food for all to enjoy! Yummy salads, pastas, meatballs, chicken fingers & wings, cheeses and desserts.  Oh, and the Pogos were a huge hit with the younger kids (and some adults too!)

Parents against kids races were also a huge hit! Unofficial results would suggest that the parents did not fair very well against their kids, but on the bright side, it means that our kids are getting great training! Thanks to Blue Mountain Race Crew for setting this up and making it safe and fun for all to enjoy!

Our Sunday Apres Social was very well attended!  We hope everyone had plenty of nibbles and a good time! Special thanks to Laura for arranging, and Stef & Amir for guarding the door making it a Jozo exclusive event for members ;)
Important Housekeeping Items
Personal Alcoholic Beverages

It has come to our attention that some people chose to bring their own alcoholic beverages to our social events at Blue Mountain this past weekend.

This is absolutely against the Law and reflects poorly on our entire Club.

Anyone found bringing or consuming alcohol not purchased at Blue Mountain will be asked to leave the property and further action may be taken by Blue Mountain Resorts.

Please be smart and allow everyone to continue enjoying these great afternoon events we have worked hard to make happen this year! Also, please don't drink and drive.

Thanks for your cooperation.
Parking

Several people have received $75 parking tickets when unloading & loading along the fire route at the Blue Mountain Inn.

Members are reminded and encouraged to refrain from stopping along the fire route for safety's sake and avoid receiving a hefty fine.
