Indigenous Health: Kitpu Wise March Break Health Science Camp

2019 Weld Kernohan Lecture: Dr.Ojistoh Horn
Thurs. Mar. 21, 2019. Indigenous Perspectives in Western Medicine. Dr. Ojistoh Horn is a Mohawk from the community of Kahnawake. She attended medical school at the University of British Columbia, then completed McGill's Family Medicine residency program with a fellowship in Maternal and Child Health.

PLANS Summer Porgrams: African Nova Scotian youth exploring careers in health.
Applications Due: May 3, 2019. African Nova Scotian students from across Nova Scotia who are interested in a career in health are invited to apply for these summer programs. Camps take place during the month of July in Nova Scotia.

Dr. Rebecca Tiessen: Ethical Considerations for International Interns and Volunteers: Rebecca Tiessen is the University Chair in Teaching, and Professor in the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa. Her research explores gender equality and development, foreign aid and the role and impact of international aid workers in partner countries.
