Bidstation Beta Update #8

Bidstation update to version 8.4.0 is now available.

Today we’ve made an update available to the desktop software through the Check for Updates tool under the Help menu in Bidstation.

Changelog:

updates to single and batch payment processing to fix a bug due to decimal place error that might cause the batch to stop processing.
additional UI updates as we continue to work on addressing high dpi scaling issues.
Updated ExpressPay invoice templates to display “Card on File – Go directly to Pickup”. Previous message directed bidders to pay at checkout but with ExpressPay, they skip checkout.

We've also added two short video clips demonstrating how to setup Bidstation and Square Point of Sale.

We are also aware of a bug that impacts exporting and importing items when baskets have been assembled in Bidstation. While this bug remains open, please avoid using item export and re-import if you have assembled baskets in Bidstation. The bug appears to change the basket links to the items so that they would need to be re-assembled if exported and imported.

Less than 2 weeks left to get a free one-year license!

Thank you everyone for all of your support and feedback during the past few weeks. We're looking forward to the launch in March but until then, our beta program is open to anyone that wants to get a free license for Bidstation. All we ask in exchange is that users share feedback with us.
