Helen Zia Author Event Recap
Thanks to everybody who braved the snow and wintry precipitation on February 12th to attend our author event with Helen Zia! Professor Emerita Connie Chan and Zia conducted a thoughtful discussion about the twelve years of research that went into writing Last Boat out of Shanghai. The event was well-attended, despite the poor weather, and the evening concluded with a lively meet and greet and book-signing session with Zia.
