FEBRUARY eNEWS

We have seen a few too many “Extreme Cold Warning” notifications in our weather reports this past month for my liking. At Central Alberta Youth Unlimited, it hasn’t slowed down the work of Hope and Wholeness for all youth. Over the past school year we have been blessed to see over 100 youth respond to the message of Jesus Christ! We are in awe of what God is doing and so grateful for the amazing team here at CAYU who are wholeheartedly devoted to this mission. We are in the process of professionally filming a new series of videos to help us share the Gospel in April 2019. While the videos will be free for youth, there are significant costs to a project of this scope. We’d love to tell you more about that if you are interested in being a part of it. Please be praying for the film production taking place on February 26-28 and do your best to stay warm while winter reminds us that we live in Alberta.

As a new staff member, it has been incredible becoming a part of this team. I have come to grow more and more excited to be working with this organization. It is my dream to come alongside the students in the Red Deer community and show them the love of God. I look forward to the day that I can join Kevin in the High School, reaching out to youth with the hope of Jesus. However, before I can get to that point, I have to complete my fundraising. It has come with challenges, but has also been rewarding as God has started building connections. I continue to pray that God sends all of the support I need, so I can start the work that He has called me to do with the youth of Central Alberta!
