ICO Education Power 2019

Initial situation:
Despite the demand for coach education and training camps, there are very few offers for players and officials.
 
Aim:
The ICO wants to make the education program more attractive and affordable to grow participation.
 
Proposal:
ICO supports organizers and participants financially and with logistics and materials. This includes referee educations, trainer educations and training workshops.
Each workshop will be offered to the participants for flat rate of € 99. These € 99 include training / education, accommodation and meals. The travel expense to get to the venue must be covered by each participant.
We support these with a maximum of 100 € per participant if the event calculation and actual costs are deficient.
 
Condition for participation:
The organizer must disclose his calculation / costs to the ICO in order to get the appropriate support.
 
When:
The project is schedule for the full year 2019 or till the budget is gone. First come first served!

ICO Educational structure

In the past year we have been working to consolidate the ICO educational structure. No major changes have been made, but the structure is now clearer, levels and contents are better defined and we have also added the shortest course – for crossminton animators. Requirements, Contents and Terms of completion for all courses are published on the crossminton.org website. If interested in a course, please write to knobling@crossminton.org.

Here is an overview of the consolidated structure:
Level D: Crossminton Animator
Level C: C-Trainer (based on existing course)
Level B: B-Trainer
Level A: A-Trainer

ICO Crossminton Masters 2019

ICO 500 Fun Series

Crossminton is not like other racket sports; Crossminton can be played on almost any surface and location. We feel that some of the best assets of our game are under represented in todays Crossminton tournament calendar.

Therefore the ICO board has taken players and organizers requests and decided to create a new tournament category in order to showcase all aspects of Crossminton. Based on the great and innovative Multicourt Cup hosted by the Fuechse Berlin we have decided to create an entirely new tournament category, the "ICO 500 Fun Series”. Each member country will be allowed to host one Fun 500 points tournament each year.

Fun tournaments qualify if they include something unique. It can be playing in the dark with Blacklight, on multiple courts, on a mountain in the snow or a boat. The idea is to showcase all aspects of our sport and also to draw some attention and simply have a great time doing something truly unique.
