The Brisbane Masters Super Nines will be held tomorrow (Sat 23rd Feb) at the State Hockey Centre.
Ten teams are competing, coming from as far as Bundaberg.

The last night for this summer's social hockey is Monday 4th March. Everyone welcome. We've been getting three teams each week, so please bring a plain RED, WHITE and a BLACK shirt. Games start at 7:30pm and will go to 9pm or 9:30pm depending on numbers. Cost is $10.
Summer Social hockey will resume in late October.

Season 2019 will see for the first time, the South Brisbane Eagles Hockey Club, enter a mens Masters team into the competition.

The Club (short name is SBE) has been running as a hockey club for approx 20 years.

At last Thursday's Brisbane Masters' sub-committee meeting the decision was made to run 5 Divisions for season 2019. Last season there were four divisions.
The plan is to have a maximum of 6 teams in a division. Currently, Club delegates have informed the sub-committee they expect (as a combined total) 28 teams. The proposed list is....
Div 1: QUT; Redcliffe; St Andrews; University; Valley
Div 2: Bulimba; Commercial; Easts; Kedron Wavell; SWU; University; 
Div 3: Bulimba; Easts; KW; Norths; St Andrews; University
Div 4: Commercial; Kedron Wavell; Norths; SBE; South West United; Valley
Div 5: Bulimba; Easts; Pine Hills; Storm; SWU
The committee will review after 5 rounds how teams are performing and may re-balance divisions.

The 2019 Season for Brisbane Masters will start on Tuesday 12th March. The draw will be available at the BHA website along with other Masters information including special Masters Rules and Brisbane Teams Selection Policy.

The Brisbane Team Selectors nominations close soon.
To nominate to be a Selector for either O35s; O40-45s; & O50s & O55s please Update Your Preferences at the bottom of this email, and look for the Selectors Field.
Selection Trials are due to held on 11th April.
All are welcome to nominate to be a selector.

The Qld Selection Carnival to be held in Hervey Bay 5th-7th April will soon close nominations.
