Snow Day Volunteer Hours from January 29th

If you were scheduled for volunteer hours on Tuesday, January 29th, you will need to make up those hours.  There are a lot of volunteer openings in the Parent Volunteer Sign up book located on the information table.

Don't forget to write down your volunteer hours in the Parent Volunteer Sign Out book in order to get credit for the hours that you have worked. This binder is in the Activity Center kitchen from 7:30-10:15am and then in the lunchroom by the cashiers from 10:15-2:15pm.  It goes back to the Activity Center kitchen for the remainder of the day.

Remember that all HERO members are required to do volunteer hours at HERO.  Volunteer hours are based on the number of classes your children are taking at HERO. For every one hour class, 3 volunteer hours are required during the semester.  If your child is taking 2 hours of classes, then you would be required to volunteer for 6 hours during the semester.  There is a family maximum of 24 volunteer hours per semester.

New Parking Lot Flow for HERO
PLUS PARKING LOT PATROL
No large/over sized vehicles (trucks, suburbans, 16 passenger vans, etc) or student's driving their own vehicles are allowed to park in the parking lot by the Activity Center. They will need to park in the parking spaces by the basketball hoops and near the main church building on the north side of the parking lot.  This keeps our parking lot open and easy to see children when they are crossing the parking lot from one building to the other.
