Call for 2020 Scientific Proposals Ending Soon

Hurry, time is running out.

Hurry, time is running out to submit a scientific proposal for the EUROTOX 2020 Congress taking place in Copenhagen, September 6-9, 2020.

We welcome submissions in line with the congress theme Toxicology of the next generation – combined efforts in quest of safer chemicals and medicines” addressing topics dealing with advances in science, emerging technologies, as well as next generation toxicology testing platforms to ensure innovative ways to evaluate the safety of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and materials.

We also urge you to support and encourage young scientists in your sessions since taking part in symposia and workshops is still an important activity to help develop their scientific and professional skills.

Please prepare and submit your proposals following the guidelines and official form both found in our website. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2019.

Recognised EUROTOX Courses List Updated

The list of recognised courses by EUROTOX as Comprehensive training in toxicology for the purpose of registration (ERT courses) or as Continuing professional development for the purpose of maintaining ERT registration (CPD courses) has been updated.

National requirements for registration show some variation and course contents may not cover a specific national requirement. Candidates who wish to undertake a course for the purpose of registration are therefore advised to check with their national register in advance whether the chosen course is suitable for this purpose, and for any special conditions which may apply.

Both lists can be downloaded directly from the EUROTOX website.

Course organisers interested to submit their courses for recognition can use the following application (when you click on the link, the document will download directly to your download folder).

EU News: Call for Experts

Join the Food Standards Agency’s Register of Specialists to be commissioned for scientific work.

The FSA is seeking to appoint new members to its Register of Specialists. The Register is a list of pre-approved experts from whom the FSA can commission short pieces of ad hoc work under contract to provide scientific and technical services. We want to expand the Register to bring in additional experts and to cover new areas of expertise and types of work.

Apply now through the FSA website.

The closing date for the current call is midnight on March 11, 2019
