DFA website now live

Welcome to the Valentine's Day edition of Currant News!

We are celebrating with the launch of the new DFA website. Check it out at www.driedfruitsaustralia.org.au – same place, new face!

A new website has been in the works for a while, but we had to get it up and running quickly when the old site stopped working for unknown reasons a few weeks ago. As such, a few more updates will be made over the coming weeks.

Please get in touch if you encounter any issues or want to provide feedback.

Member access
DFA members also have access to the online library and other restricted information. If you previously had access to the member section, please follow the below steps to login on the new website. It is easier to do it on a computer – the process is slightly different for a smartphone.

  • Click the ‘login’ button at the top right of the homepage
  • Click the ‘forgot password’ link
  • Follow the instructions to reset your password
  • Login to the website using your email address and new password
  • The 'members only' section will now be visible on the navigation bar
  • Use the search bar to find items in the library (it isn't currently arranged by category)

If you would like to set up member access, please contact communications@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au.
News bites

Have you been watching Australian Premium Dried Fruits' videos about the 2019 season? They have released two detailed crop reports so far this year. Watch the latest one, filmed at Ashley Johnstone's property, on their YouTube channel.

A new information initiative has been launched to help farmers better understand and comply with heavy vehicle regulations. Chain of Responsibility… Made Easy! was designed to eliminate the confusion and frustration farmers often feel when complying with the legislation. The online resources are hosted by the National Farmers' Federation on the Australian Farmers website.
This publication has been funded by Hort Innovation using the dried grape R&D levy and funds from the Australian Government.
