Sermon - Our Church Covenant, 2/17/19
Our Church Covenant
What does it mean to be a member of a church? Is it like a contract, where do’s and don’t are spelled out in legal detail? This week, Pastor Greg Byman rolled out the Bible’s blueprint for church membership as a covenant between fellow believers in Jesus Christ. God describes his church as a family, a fellowship, a flock and a body, and the follower of Jesus Christ does well to carefully consider the implications of these illustrations for how he relates to his fellow man both within the church and in the broader community.

Everybody is on a journey of spiritual discovery and St Joe Community Church is a place where you can process your beliefs and hang out with people at various stages in their own faith journey. St Joe invites you to participate with us as we celebrate, contemplate and activate our faith through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
To that end, as you're ready, when you're ready, please fill out the Connection Card included in the bulletin every Sunday, or just go online to our website and fill out the information there. Doing so does not mean you're applying for membership or becoming obligated for anything in anyway; it's just a step toward getting acquainted. Above all, I pray that God will restore your hope, renew your love and increase your faith as you get to know the St Joe family. Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about us! --Pastor Greg Byman
