There often is interplay of fear and courage in our personal relationships, professional environments , and community. The qualities of empathy, integrity, respect, engagement and altruism provide us a rich ground for examining the complexity of our shared lives. In this talk we will study how the compassionate and care-full cultivation of these qualities can provide us with ways to attend to the tension between fear and courage in our community engagements.
