At the Guild, we work alongside people and organizations that are re-imagining what it means to be a leader in the arts.
 

During our 2018 Conference for Community Arts Education in Baltimore, Carlton Turner gave a keynote address about building strong leadership in the arts community. Inspired by the work of civil rights leader Ella Baker, Carlton imagines how we can create a leader-full movement that counters systemic inequities and builds trust. 

Our 4-part Exploring Leadership series will examine different aspects of leadership in arts education which we have gathered from experts and practitioners in the field.
