A very big “Thank You” to all SPIM members who helped make the February 6-9 joint SPIM/SCP 2019 Conference a great success! Speakers included many SPIM members as well as psychologists and executives suggested to the planning committee by SPIM members. Tammy Lyn, President Elect, will soon be looking for next year’s speakers. If you did not attend the conference, we would love to hear why. Please complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/19Jointconference. This will help us plan next year’s conference keeping your suggestions and concerns in mind.
Your new SPIM Board of Directors has met twice, once at the joint conference, and once via Zoom. Please let Liz, committee chairs, or me know if you would like to serve on a committee this year. In any case, expect to hear from us about openings on committees, including tasks that need to be completed in order to keep SPIM a well-functioning organization that serves members well.
I look forward to serving as SPIM President during 2019, and hope you will call, text, or email me if you have ideas or suggestions.
All the best,
Martha S. Zlokovich, PhD
