Free FASD Presentations
in 10 Saskatchewan communities
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder affects approximately 5% of the Saskatchewan population, yet it remains relatively unknown. To increase awareness of this unique and complex disability that impacts so many people in our communities, the FASD Network is travelling across the province to deliver educational presentations.
The communities include:
March 18th - Moose Jaw
March 19 - Nipawin
March 21 - Yorkton
March 22 - Lloydminster
March 25 - Regina
March 26 - Saskatoon
March 27 - North Battleford
March 28 - Estevan
March 29 - Meadow Lake
April 2 - Prince Albert
The hour and a half "Lunch n' Learn" presentations will include a free lunch and focus on explaining what FASD is, the areas that individuals with the disability may experience impairments, and how these impairments may affect their behaviours and actions.
The presentations are open to anyone in the community! The information presented will be of interest to:
