This year, in addition to our 20-week vegetable share, Project GROWS is partnering with three local producers to bring you optional add-ons: Tiny Fields Farm flowers, Polyface Farm meat and eggs, and Ballerino Creamery cheese and dairy! Audrey Carter
Community Food Projects Coordinator
Phase II Fellow, Allegheny Mountain Institute

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Audrey’s hope is to become a well-rounded advocate for food equality and access. She brings experience in elementary and Deaf education, farm work, and animal husbandry!

Freddy Carruth
Education Assistant
Phase II Fellow, Allegheny Mountain Institute

Freddy grew up in West Virginia and South Carolina and received his B.S. in Plant and Environmental Sciences from Clemson University. Freddy brings his experience with large-scale beekeeping in Utah and plant research with the USDA in Charleston!

Lexi Deak
Spring Farm Intern

Lexi is a senior at JMU majoring in biology and minoring in environmental science. Our paid farm internships give college students an opportunity to learn about small scale, sustainable vegetable farming by working closely with our Farm Manager and Farm Assistant on farm for one semester.
