Thank you for praying for DeepWater Church, we praise God for you! This month I have asked our Worship Minister, Julianna Fletcher, to share her requests for DeepWater with you. A quick word of praise that in January and early in February we have met many new people at our services and our Sunday gatherings are growing. We praise God for this growth, we also continue to ask the Lord to help us connect with those where we LIVE, LEARN, WORK and PLAY. We are missionaries everyday! Requests from Julianna Fletcher, DeepWater Worship Minister:
1. For us to overcome evil and the enemy's assignments against DW
“‘As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.’ Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.” Genesis 50:20
Protection from disunity -- Protection from people who want to cause dissension -- Protection from spiritual warfare in homes
2. For unity in the Spirit
“I, therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3

3. For a mission from the Lord unique for Deepwater
How we are set apart on mission to deeply love the island and beyond.
“So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” Romans 14:19
4. For the faith family
That we would have deep roots, unique shared traditions, celebrations of life, and love to bear with one another and pray for one another. Let us put others first and serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. May we seek God first, putting aside our own desires.
May we become intercessors for our brothers and sisters in Christ. May we pray more and criticize less. May we be encouragers and uplifters.
5. For Paul and leadership
For the leaders to lead themselves well and conduct themselves in ways that honor the Lord
To be above reproach
To exercise the spiritual disciplines of prayer, meditation, solitude, fasting, worship, service, confession, and simplicity
The preaching of God's word to be bold and life changing
To be passionate about sharing the Gospel with others
For wisdom to handle people's needs under our care
1 Peter 5 :1-4
To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
6. For our services
That people would worship with undistracted hearts - His glory would fall.
That the Word would be preached and proclaimed with power - we would take this responsibility with great reverence.
That the people would be transformed and called to action each week equipped for their lives.
7. Great big faith
Without faith it is impossible to please God. May we live with bold faith in our vision -- in our personal lives -- in our budgets -- in our services
8. For a future brick and mortar space
9. For opportunities to connect with pre-Christians (those who are without Christ). Divine appointments daily.
10. Reaching the next gen and honoring the older gen
Prayers to bridge the gap between all generations of the church.
To be a church that inspires all ages to live their lives for His glory and purposes
Many at a young age would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus!
