Mike Groshong
 
Mike Groshong was of one of the Florence Community's SuperStars.
Mike could be seen announcing Raffle Winners and Parades,
promoting events and selling Burgers for the Lions Club.
Mike was the Producer of the Wings & Wheels Car Show, and was
an unforgettable Rhody Cruiser.
A Memorial for Mike Groshong to be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 (Mike's Birthday) at 1 p.m. at the Florence Elks Lodge.
Rhody Cruisers members and friends are invited. Please bring any memorabilia or stories that you would like to share with the group. We would love to see some of our cars in the parking lot as well, weather permitting.
There is ample parking.

Gary Cargill Says... We are setting up our first Rods N Rhodies Committee meeting for March. The date will be March 5th Tuesday at 8:30am in the Beachcomber Restaurant. Any Rhody Cruisers who may be interested in being part of the committee are invited to attend.

US 101 Car Club Show-N-Shine (BeachComber Days)
I attended the February Club Meeting, and members voted NOT to have the show this year, usually scheduled for June 15. The reason being, that it always ends up about 4 people doing all the work.
They will see if any other Waldport local organization wants to take it over.
Thanks to the US 101 Car Club for all the Awards, Music, and Hamburgers.
The Club has been invited to attend our Rhody Cruise-In at A&W this month.

 The Thursday AM Coffee Cruise is a Big Success. It is attended by many members for Coffee, muffins and cookies. Before and after coffee it turns into a Stand-Around, lookin at cars and talking. Get the latest on events and projects.

The Rhody Cruisers had a busy 2018.
We attended dozens of Car Shows, bringing Glory and Booty to our humble group. We quickly organized a Stand-Around Show for visiting guests in June. We helped with Wings & Wheels, and made a major contribution to Rods 'N Rhodies. We participated in the Rhody Days Parade, and paraded to honor our Veterans last month. Together we brought in donations of Christmas Joy for those in need. We paid our respect to those folks being cared for at Spruce Point and Shorewood Living. I am very proud of our little club, and look forward to another year of community support, good times, and good friends. One of the best things we do is to meet monthly, and toss around ideas about upcoming events. Our around-the-room discussions are fabulous. Many thanks for that go to ...Ann, and the great staff at the A&W.
