Springing Forward into March
As we welcome the month of March, we move into more light and set our clocks one hour ahead for Daylight Saving Time on March 10, 2019. On March 20, with the Vernal Equinox, we enter Springtime, a time of new birth, new growth and “blossoming forth.” To blossom forth is defined as to “develop, unfold, progress, evolve through the process of evolution, natural growth,” beautifully expressing our Spiritualist philosophy. On March 31, Spiritualists celebrate the anniversary of the advent of Modern Spiritualism, March 31, 1848.
Our special event this month at the Spiritualist Church of the Comforter will be Mediums’ Day, Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our Mediums and Student Mediums will be available for individual readings and to bring messages to you from your spirit loved ones. (see flyer for details). We joyously welcome our speakers Paul Schaffer, DC, on March 3; Tracey Bolton, CM, on March 10; the Rev. Dr. Julia Kyle on March 24, and first time as speaker, Annie J. Dahlgren on March 31, and I will serve as speaker on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day.
We approach the season of Spring, and as Spiritualists we understand that we have the responsibility to use our free will to continue to grow and learn. May we witness the beauty of the season in the glorious flower buds bursting into bloom, knowing that the beauty of what is inside of each bud will be revealed as it unfolds. May we give our gratitude to Infinite Intelligence expressing in all manifestations of Nature, in both the seen and unseen realms, spirit now and always.
