This week has been spent memorizing The Declaration of Independence with my daughter for her 7th-grade class. It reminded me of all the poems we had to memorize in school so I got to googling and this beautiful little animation showed up. Happy Friday!
This kid is doing it right. 


The Australian is killing it. First with The Teacher's Pet, and now with Who the hell is Hamish? This podcast follows the exploits of a serial conman and fraudster. It's a satisfying story about justice thus far.

Some big stuff happened this week in history. If you have an inclination to travel back in time, take these tips with you:
 

TIP: Visit Kingsland, Arkansas and make it a special trip on February 26th in 1932. The heavens have opened up and Johnny Cash has arrived! Cash is King.  

TIP: Folks hanging around in 1932 should check the papers on February 27th. They just discovered the neutron. I don't think the proximity to the arrival of Cash is entirely unrelated. 

TIP: Skip ahead a few years to 1938 and stop on February 28th to gawk at DuPont's newest invention, nylon.
