It's March and I keep reminding myself that spring is around the corner, despite the weekly forecasts of winter storm alerts like ice yesterday in St. Louis--again and up to six inches of snow this weekend. Hang in there. The Midwest will warm up soon.
I had sooo much fun celebrating my birthday a few weeks ago. I didn't have a big party or elaborate program. All I wanted was friends and family members to meet me at a restaurant and have dinner with me. I'm still riding high that almost 40 people showed me some love. It was my best birthday EVER. A kindergarten friend, former coworkers, in-laws, teenage friends, siblings, my son, daughter, hubby, and more. See more PHOTOS.
Besides the new headshots, I had a new Simmons family photo taken. Hopefully, I'll share that next month along with a new website and book cover. It's amazing how stressful it is to get three adults on one accord for a one hour session I'm glad this is a five year project.
I've been busy writing and researching Book 2 in the Caregivers series, I'M HERE FOR YOU. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to get on social media as much as I want. Please help me to spread the word about my latest releases. One way is to forward this newsletter to a couple of book readers.
