I never had more than 1 illustration make it into Spectrum before. I'm so excited. Especially since 2 are going to be featured in my Kickstarter book launching June 1st. I pushed myself to do more with my compositions, learn to work with chalk pastels more efficiently, and stop doing just portraits (even though they are my loves.) I still have a long way to go and there were definitely failed attempts on my journey. My patron on Patreon are witnesses to that.

I took on Month of Love this year and dedicated it to my Little Mermaid book. Month of Love is an annual event where each week of Feb artists are given a word prompt. I chose "Blindness" and "Tears". Click on the image to learn more about the piece and it's meaning from my book.
