Editing Your Web Profile
Did you know that you can easily edit your web profile that appears on your department website?
Each of the department and program websites for the social sciences includes profiles for the faculty, graduate students, and staff in that department. These profiles include contact information, educational history, publications, CV, etc.
To edit your profile, follow these simple steps:
1. Visit your department or program website (e.g., https://economics.ucdavis.edu/), scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the Log In link in the footer.
Note: if you're connecting from off campus or from campus wireless, you must first connect to the Social Sciences VPN. If you see a "403 Forbidden" error, it means you need to connect to the VPN.
2. Click the "CAS Log In" link, then authenticate with your UC Davis credentials.
3. Click on your name (which replaces the "CAS Log In" link), and select My Profile.
On the My Profile page, you will find links for editing any of the information displayed in your web profile. Here are links to more detailed directions for each of the major profile sections:
But if you would rather not bother with the directions above, we are happy to make changes for you! Just send your changes to the Social Sciences IT service desk at ithelp@dss.ucdavis.edu, and we will post them to your department website on your behalf.

ICYMY, ArcGIS Products Available at No Cost
 The ESRI ArcGIS suite of products, including desktop, server, and online components, are now available to all UC Davis affiliates at no cost. You can find information on how to get access to the software and services at:

If you are just getting started with mapping and GIS, ESRI provides an online learning portal at:
https://learn.arcgis.com/
To log in at that portal, choose the "Enterprise Login" option, enter "ucdavis" as your organization, then choose "UC Davis Kerberos Login."
