Salish Sea Stewards 2019 Training Hospitality Volunteers Needed!

We need two volunteers for every class to help with hospitality at the beginning of each class. Classes run every Tuesday from March 19 - May 21 (except the third week in April class is on Friday, April 19. Shifts are generally 12;30-2:00PM (except April 19 - shift is 8:30-noon).Check ou tthe speaker schedule and pick the class you want to help with at HERE.

Friends of Skagit Beaches Needs Some Help

 Mainttaining those highly popular interpretive signs along the Tommy Thompson Trail in Anacortes between 34th Street and March Point. These signs are being replaced (due to manufacturing defects) with help from the City of Anacortes. 

We need a few volunteers who would be willing to work on removing the old signs and cleaning the frames before the new signs are installed. Work should happen in February but volunteers can set their own schedule.

Microplastics Sampling Volunteers Needed
 
Puget Soundkeeper is STILL looking for help collecting microplastic samples from around the Sound for a research/monitoring project. There are sites in and around Skagit County that they need help with.
