Travel back in time to Pompton Lakes in 1956!  On Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm, The Friends of the Pompton Lakes Library is presenting "Our Home Town" a documentary of Pompton Lakes from 1956.  Hear from local businessman, Bill Houston, who rescued this film from destruction and preserved it for future generations.

Be on hand to help identify your family and friends that may be featured in this film time capsule to document for the future!
Get ready, it's time to start reading for our One Book, One Town reading event!  This year's title is "An Invisible Thread" by Laura Schroff and Alex Tresniowski.  This inspirational New York Times bestseller follows the lifelong friendship between a busy sales executive and a disadvantaged young boy, and how both of their lives were changed by what began as one small gesture of kindness.
