The Republican Party of San Luis Obispo County Condemns Infanticide and Supports the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors
Protection Act (S. 130)
San Luis Obispo, CA At its general membership meeting, the Republican Party of San Luis Obispo County (RPSLO) voted unanimously to condemn Infanticide and to support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 130).
Randall Jordan, Chair of the RPSLO stated that Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam, was recorded saying, "If a mother is in labor, I can tell you what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother." Jordan added, "This is contrary to the ideals of the United States of America."
Jordan pointed out that the prolific serial killer, Kermit Gosnell, was imprisoned for life without parole for murdering born-alive infants as described by Governor Northam. "The Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary defines infanticide as 'the killing of an infant,' Jordan said, "and we must stop abortionists from killing, harvesting organs or denying medical care to infants born alive who survive an attempted abortion."
Jordan stated "the RPSLO condemns the pro-infanticide position of the Democratic Party as hateful, depraved, and morally repugnant acts which are contradictory to the values that define the people of the United States of America."
