WORKS IN CLAY FOR CONTEMPLATION

OPEN EVENING WITH MARY FLITCROFT

19 The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EE  |  +44 (0)1722 424800  |  courses@sarum.ac.uk
All are welcome to Sarum College for a free open evening with Mary Flitcroft on Friday 1 March from 6pm to 8pm.

Mary Flitcroft’s exhibition, Works in Clay for Contemplation, runs until Thursday 18 April 2019.

The exhibition is a series of The Stations of the Cross: Stopping Places and a series exploring our inner pilgrimage, Journey.

Mary is an experienced teacher and ceramic artist who uses porcelain clay, which is folded, torn and cut: stained coloured and marked, to create works for contemplation.

For a deeper experience of the artwork, join Mary Flitcroft’s retreat, Holy Week at Sarum (15 to 17 April 2019) where space will be given for contemplation – looking, making, and prayerfully exploring.

The open evening begins at 6pm with wine and nibbles. Please RSVP to info@sarum.ac.uk or 01722 424800.
