CLIENT STORY SNAPSHOT: MS. KIM

Due to her limited English proficiency at the time, Ms. Kim was unable to receive appropriate support until she found our KAFSC Hotline number through a magazine. We were able to place Ms. Kim and her daughter in our Transitional Housing program, where she was able to complete the program within two years. Ms. Kim received job training through our Self-Sufficiency program and scholarship assistance, which enabled her to reach her goal of becoming a registered nurse.

Today, Ms. Kim has full-time employment at a local hospital and fully support herself and her 3 year-old daughter. We are so proud of Ms. Kim and her hard work to achieve her goals!

Your generosity makes these stories possible. Please join us at our KAFSC 30th Anniversary Gala to hear more stories like Ms. Kim's!

I am excited to administer my skillset on a grander scale as the new Events Coordinator of KAFSC and am happy to be a part of the Annual Gala."
