Save the Date! OMIC Annual General Meeting 2019
The Ottawa Music Industry Coalition will be holding its fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 29th, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:30pm in the YES Studio (same place as our office, 99 Fifth Ave in the Fifth Ave Court building) with a mixer to follow.
For all non-profit organisations, the AGM is an important community gathering. It provides a chance for the community to connect with the board and staff, reflect on the year passed, receive reports from the President and Treasurer, and have their say in the direction of the organization. We will also be holding elections for our Board of Directors at this meeting.
There are five seats on our Board of Directors available to be filled by election at this meeting due to the terms of existing board members coming to an end. We thank Mark Monahan, Colin Mills, Heather Gibson, Patrick Harrison and Steve Foley for their contributions to the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition to-date.

Candidacy packages can be submitted in either English or French. All those with valid, active memberships are eligible to run for the Board of Directors.
The deadline to submit your candidacy is April 9, 2018 to allow time to make sure letters of interest and core supporting documentation can be translated and sent to the membership so that they can make an informed decision.
