Next Wednesday, March 6, is Ash Wednesday. It is an ancient holiday in the history of the church dating back more than a millennia ago and at Praise & Worship, we celebrate this day to remind us of the beginning of a new season: LENT. While many faith traditions use this season to focus on "giving up something" for Lent, we use this time to follow Jesus to the cross. We study His words carefully and experience His story...together.
So next Wednesday night, join us at 6:30 for a special service where we will begin that journey together. It is a unique service of the Word which concludes with the imposition of ashes.
Then, take note of the Wednesdays which follow: March 13, 20, 27, April 3 and 10 when we will gather for "Dinner Parables" each week at 5:30. A simple format where we eat together, grow in God's Word and follow Jesus together. You are invited!
