Seedy Saturday this Saturday

This is our final reminder about our Seedy Saturday coming up fast! It's March 2nd from 10 am to 2 pm at Thompson Community Centre. We'll have seed vendors, plant vendors, community organizations and Master Gardeners. Get everything you need for the coming planting season. It may be cold outside, but it's Spring here at RFSS. We'll have snacks generously donated by Nature's Path, kids activities and the Richmond Public Library with gardening books to get you started!

We have two presentations, from 10 am - 11 am, Intro to Spring/Veggie Gardening with Rhiannon Johnson, and from 12 pm to 1 pm, the Ecological benefits of seed saving with David Catzel.

Please note that Seedy Saturday visitors need to park in the JN Burnett Parking lot, and NOT the Thompson Community Centre. Please follow signs for RFSS Seedy Saturday Parking.

Garden Workshops

Garden Workshop updates. We have cancelled our March 6th garden workshop focused on Garden planning and maintenance.

We will still have the March 17th from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Terra Nova Red barn session on the same topic.
