StartUp Health @ SXSW: Home Base for Health Innovation
Next week, StartUp Health – and a squad of Health Transformers – head to Texas’ hill country for a gathering like no other: SXSW. This hip, interdisciplinary, week+ event has become one of the world’s largest intersections of art, technology, and industry, with “Health” taking an official spot on the agenda since 2011. Of course, the attention health is getting comes as no surprise to us – StartUp Health tracked an 88% jump in unique investors in digital health in just three years and a record high $14.6B in funding in 2018.
That said, the time is ripe for the digital health revolution and we’re not going to SXSW empty handed. We’ll be linking arms with Energizing Health and Novartis Biome for multiple days of moonshot updates and roundtable conversations.
