Hello,
I hope your first two months of 2019 have allowed for great progress in establishing and maintaining your resolutions for the year. This year is already flying by for me and I’m excited to to share an update with you.
I’m happy to announce we are in the final stages of the publishing process and are ready to release my new book this summer, June 2019. While writing and editing I saw the need to make a shift in the title to further reflect the true message portrayed in the book. The new title is Cognitive Dominance: A Brain Surgeon’s Quest to Outthink Fear, based on the military term “Cognitive Dominance” which has been a founding principle in my life. Throughout the book, I discuss my career path moving from a young medical student to a seasoned veteran in the field and share what I’ve learned along the way with practical tools you can apply to your own life.
While writing my book I starting listening to this powerful and sobering podcast called Malcolm Gladwell’s Revisionist History. I highly recommend giving it a listen. I pulled this great quote from it in hopes that I can even integrate it into my book:
