UPDATE

Dear InnoStars and RIS Hub friends,

We have started this year with increased confidence after the very positive echoes of the EIT Health Summit in Poland. We can see that our Partners and RIS Hubs are very active and your visibility is strenghten in the eyes of EIT Health European Community. We do hope that with the tools that we are developing, you will feel even more supported during your EIT Health journey!

First comes first – InnoStars Partners has successfully submitted 37 Stage pre-proposals. We kindly remind you about support that we offer to prepare successful submissions for BP2020 Call. A relevant Regional Manager can dedicate on-site support in writing the proposals, consulting content and finding partners. If any Partners are looking for an organisation to join the project from other CLC, please contact the Regional Manager to receive support and detailed information. We also still have available slots for Stage 0 consultation. In the following days, all projects shall receive initial feedback during the calls. As of the first week of March, we will be conducting a second round of Stage 0.

Secondly, interest in the EIT Health Accelerator programmes is rising. Thanks to our new online platform, you can easily search programmes that best suit your needs. As of 2018, EIT Health has doubled the number of teams applying to our programmes and competitions year-on-year, we have a strong hope that this time the InnoStars regions will also be very active and visible. I’m sure you remember that, for instance, last year, the European Health Catapult Winner Ceremony was dominated by innovators from the InnoStars regions. We are very proud of the development path of Synoesis, HydruStent and NeuroPsyAI and we hope to meet even more bright minds from InnoStars and RIS countries.

I warmly invite you to join our webinars and all Q&A sessions that we regularly organise. I am waiting for any thoughts or suggestions you may have. We are happy to work with you and co-create the successful proposals as well as guide you to the best accelerator programmes.

All the best,

Balazs Furjes | Managing Director EIT Health InnoStars
