Sponsorship Opportunities

2018 was an exciting year for racing in Michigan. We saw the Detroit Cycling Championships and Corktown Crit create a weekend of racing drawing a national crowd, a new stage race launched in White Lake and many other great events through the year. Our monthly newsletter has grown and now reaches over 1,600 people. This a great way to promote the sport and your business! 2019 promises to be even bigger and the MBRA is looking for supporters to help us grow racing in the state. As you know, the MBRA is a non profit set up to support racing in the state. We need the help of the cycling community to make that happen! Here are the 2019 highlights are are working on right now to make 2019 a fun and exciting season for all:

New races in Jackson and East Lansing
Adding a USAC race component to the current Cherry Roubaix Race
A pre-registration program that provides great incentives for racers throughout the year, see below for a teaser.
Naming rights available!
More support for promoters to put on top quality events
Increased opportunity for juniors and women to try the sport in a positive environment
Partnership with VIE13, a Michigan based kit supplier, to provide jerseys for MBRA needs

As we enter a new year, I'm reaching out to the cycling community to get a commitment toward supporting our 2019 year! It takes support from within the community to make it work. Pre-Register Early And Often

So what's this about pre-registration incentives?

We'd like to encourage our racers to register early for events, so we'll be starting a program where each week we give a prize to a pre-registered racer. Each race registration will be an entry. Registered for 3 races at an event? You will have three entries that can win. Only pre-registrations will count, we won't be retrieving day-of registrations from promoters to add to the list. Any race at any of the events listed on our Road page will count, including clinics and training races. Prizes will be drawn weekly. So if you register four weeks early, that's four more chances to win. At the end of the season there will be a big season prize with all the entries thrown back in.

Look for the program to start at the beginning of April and for details before that. All pre-registrations before that date will be counted as entries in the drawings.

So remember: register early, and register often.
