Stories from the LIRA 2030 Programme
Over on our blog, we catch up with early-career researchers funded through the LIRA 2030 (Leading Integrated Research in Africa) programme to hear about how working with communities is helping to co-produce solutions to sustainable development challenges:
First, we meet researchers working in Nairobi, Kenya, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to hear how a citizen science project aims to raise awareness of dangerous air pollution and turn the tide of health and respiratory problems.
We also hear how a team of early-career researchers working in Luanda, Angola, and Maputo, Mozambique, are bringing together communities and local government to coproduce the data they need to better pursue a development agenda.
Catch up on all the LIRA 2030 programme blogs here.
