Good Morning!

Think back to when you were a child and told your first little white lie. What was it about? Were you punished for it?

I'm sure you were taught the importance of always telling the truth and have done the same to your children. But what if we told you that your child's little white lies could actually be a good thing?

Research has shown that children who fib early in life are actually showing signs of their developing intelligence. That's right! Children who lie often have better functioning skills and a better ability to see the world from different perspectives. All in all, children who lie are considered more socially adept and well-rounded.

But what does this mean to you as a parent? Should you stop teaching them the rights and wrongs of lying?

In this week's blog post, "White Lies: Your Child’s Deceit May Not Be as Bad as You Think", we'll be shining a light on what it really means when kids lie and how parents can continue to teach them the difference between right and wrong.
