Hi Nina, tell us how long you’ve been in the Beauty industry and what made you get into it? 

I went straight to college Menai from school and qualified when I was 19 so 21 years ago! I had always wanted to be a beauty therapist since being a child, I used to go with my mum who had a facial every month and I would sit on a chair in the room and watch!

How many staff work for you at Gorgeous Beauty? 

There is currently only two of us working at Gorgeous Beauty at the moment, we are currently looking for someone new to join our team! 

You are stockists for Tanya Whitebits and Tropic to name but a few, what do you look for in a beauty brand?

For me it’s very important that as many of the products we use are not tested on animals which is why we use Tanya Whitebits, Tropic, Ruff Stuff daily body scrub, St Tropez and Nouveau Lashes! 

       

What are some of your most popular treatments? 

Our most popular treatment is Shellac nails, although last month we started doing Dermaplaning and this is proving a VERY popular treatment!

What’s next for Gorgeous Beauty?

We are always looking out for new treatments to train in, Henna Brows is next on my list!
