Dr. Ebony Carter receives ADA Pathway Grant

On February 15th, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) announced the 2019 awardees for the Pathway to Stop Diabetes research grants. CDTR member, Dr. Ebony Carter was named a Pathway Accelerator Awardee, receiving $1.625 million over the five-year grant term.

Through this innovative initiative, Dr. Carter will advance her clinical research project "Targeted lifestyle change group prenatal care for obese women at high risk for gestational diabetes: a randomized controlled trial." Learn more here. Congratulations, Dr. Carter!

Research Policy Updates on the Common Rule
The NCAI Policy Research Center released a five-part series titled "Research Policy Updates on the Common Rule" to help inform tribes, researchers, IRBs and research participants about the federal protections, changes, and updates relevant to research funded by certain federal agencies.
