The Weekly TickList #112

Fontainebleau

In between showers conditions are great and this resulted in remarkable repeats of some of the hardest problems of Fontainebleau. Ryohei Kameyama repeated the recently opened and hardest 'straight up' in the forest, No Kpote Only 9a in Rocher Brûlé. Nicolas Januel repeated Le Pied à Coulisse 8c/8c+ in Rocher Gréau. Nicolas Pelorson repeated Délire Onirique (assis) 8c (video) in Rocher Saint Germain. Sergii Topishko registered his first 8b with Ubik (assis) in Les Mammouths. Catherine Miquel, the first woman to climb an 8a boulder (1998), still climbs that grade. She repeated the traverse Asendência in Gorge aux Châts.

Cent Pofs et Sans Reproche

This picture was taken from the Instagram feed of Marko Kauko (@markokauko)

"Friction is strange thing. First session @kaukojyrki nearly got Cent Pofs et Sans Reproche done. Second session on a dry and windy day Jyrki didn't have any friction on the start of the crux."

Selected with care. Nice cinematography, great problems and proper ethics. Or just newsworthy. We like.
