It’s Oscars weekend. I’ve seen just one Best Picture nominee. Gonna rectify that soon after I hit send.

This week’s counts: 35 notable guests, eight new podcasts, seven deep dives and one controversial set of fake teeth.

  • That’s Glen Weldon, on the Best Actor nominee Rami Malek and his abundantly toothed performance as Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

  • My take: I’m rooting for “Black Panther.”

  • Spoiler: It’s the only Best Picture nominee I’ve seen.
