This week we will explore the significance of the
Ark of the Covenant  and what it teaches us about intimacy with God.

The Ark was the place where God's glory hovered over the Mercy Seat.  Inside the ark were 3 items:  A jar of Manna, the Staff of the High Priest which Budded, and the broken Tablets of the Law that Moses brought down from Sinai and broke when the people rebelled and made and worshipped the Ido of the golden calf.

You may be wondering what all that has to do with us.  each of these items reveal God's plan of salvation and Jesus work to bring us back into intimacy with God.  Join us this week as we unveil the secrets of the Holy of Holies and enter into the presence and pleasure of God.

The Holy Place in the Tabernacle

"We were made not only to know God but to fully enjoy Him both now and forever.  God's Word gives incredible insight as to how we can truly experience intimacy with God that is absolutely incredible.  In this new series we will explore what the Bible has to say about our union with God through Jesus Christ and give practical steps for how you can move closer into His presence and joy."

Exodus 37:1-9 (NIV) 1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. 2 He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it. 3 He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. 4 Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. 5 And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it.
6 He made the atonement cover of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 7 Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. 8 He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover. 9 The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover.

We invite you to join and participate in our small group ministry.  A small group is your way to experience the life of the congregation in a discipleship setting.  It is also a great way to inform and nuture your faith formation.  All of our small groups offer opportunities for fellowship, discussion, faith study, and prayer.

We have a vareity of small groups, some are regular, others are temporary.   We are open to adding more--you may bring your suggested ideas of new small groups to Pastor Drew or elders. Small groups will resume in couple weeks already.  Please check ICP webpage for updates.
