Earlier this month I went for a bush walk in the Blue Mountains, where I took this misty trees photo. I had been feeling tired of the intense summer heat, and spending a day in cool, rainy, misty weather did me a world of good.

Apart from that I have been kept busy tarot reading in my office, at events, teaching my Intuitive Tarot for Beginners at Work-Shop in Redfern (next classes are March 20 and May 8 - more info and bookings here), and making my Queen of Cups Chai and delivering it to Petty Cash Cafe in Marrickville, Brothers Ben Cafe in Petersham and Jewels on Queen in Woollahra.

Also, just a reminder that in addition to face-to-face readings I also offer readings via Skype, FaceTime and Phone, as well as via Email. Clients who have experienced distant readings as well as in-person say that the readings are just as powerful and helpful when from afar. More information here.

Tarot Card of the Month ~ The Knight of Pentacles

For those who are reading this newsletter for the first time, every month I discuss the tarot card that has appeared the most in the month's tarot readings. Even though the cards will always have individual significance, a commonly occurring card can also have a say about what's going on for the whole community.

I love it when the Knight of Pentacles show up a lot because they bring an air of authenticity and enthusiasm (whether quiet or boisterous). I often think of the Knights as volunteers who give their service simply because they have so much gratitude for what community brings them.

The Knight of Pentacles would be the kind of friend who turns up just as they are, no pretensions, present to how they are feeling in that moment, and what they are willing to offer and receive. Even if they are feeling low or introverted they bring something so valuable, simply by being real.

And now to hear from four different Knight of Pentacles cards from my personal tarot collection:

Knight of Pentacles from the Next World Tarot says, "Show up, trusting that people want you there, even if you're feeling uncertain. Trust in your capacity to bring your creative nature to the room."

Diska Riddari (Icelandic for Knight of Pentacles) from Íslensk Tarotspil says, "Seek out the spaces where you feel safe and immerse yourself in them. Even if you don't have a lot to say, never mind, it's the feeling that counts."

Knight of Coins from the Tarot of Witches says, "Do what you enjoy with as much enthusiasm as you can muster! Whether high or low energy, trust that whatever amount of enthusiasm you bring will be exactly what is required to make the impact you want."

Explorer of Earth (Knight of Pentacles) from the Gaian Tarot says, "Attend to the quieter moments when they are there, as a foundation for the noisier times. Exploring nature alone or with a friend can ground you enough so that you don't ignore what your body needs."

My office address is Suite 5, 134-140 King St Newtown. It is in a building that is only accessible if you have a scheduled appointment.

Since December 2013 I have been selling my very own delicious blend of chai - Psychic Sarah's Queen of Cups Chai. I personally select and blend the spices, and package every single packet of chai.

One 220g packet costs AUD$22 (GST inclusive), and will make you at least 50 large (I mean huge) cups of delicious authentic chai. Read a review about it here. I know I am biased, but it's my favourite chai! But that's to be expected of course, as I made it to suit my tastebuds. Friends and family often specifically mention that I am to make them chai when they come for a visit, and if I forget they have no qualms in reminding me to make it for them!

If you are local to Sydney (and in particular the Inner West) you can drink my chai in-house at Brothers Ben Café in Petersham, and you can drink it in-house AND purchase a packet to take home with you at Petty Cash Café in Marrickville. Or, you can order it online. You can buy a packet off me directly when you come for a tarot reading, but be sure to let me know at time of booking so that I definitely have chai for you!
