Spring is coming!

As we slowly make our way towards warmer weather there are more things happening at Annette. Please see below for upcoming fundraising and council events.

Meet our MPP Bhutila Karpoche

Our next School Council meeting on Wednesday February 27th at 7pm will be attended by our local MPP Bhutila Karpoche. Please come out to meet her and hear what is happening in our community. The meeting will be held at 7pm in the Staff Room. As usual, free childcare will be provided. The Agenda is posted on our website.

STEM Family Night

The STEM committee is looking for Parent volunteers to assist in organizing the STEM family night on April 4th, 2019 (6-8pm). This is a great opportunity for parents to be involved in the school and your children's education. We are looking for volunteers to assist in directing people, demonstration setup, organizing and handling out materials. If you are interested, please email ron.soong@gmail.com.

Technology in Classroom Survey

The STEM committee would like to get a better idea about the use of Technology in your child's classroom. If you can take 5 minutes of your time to complete this short survey it will help us bring positive changes in our school. Education is a two way street - your feedback will help bring attention to issue that is affecting your child. Bag 2 School - Need Help

We have had a few queries into the Bag 2 School fundraiser we normally run with HPAS. Unfortunately, we currently do not have anyone to run this particular fundraiser. One or two volunteer to run this popular fundraiser would be a great help. Any funds raised from this campaign go towards the Orange Door (outdoor sports and play equipment for student use at lunch). If you are able to help run this, please get in touch with council and we will give you all the details you need to get this going again.

Fun Fair Contributions

As we head towards Spring the preparations for the Annette Fun Fair will soon be beginning. We are asking all parents to consider what they would be able to donate to our Silent Auction (tickets to games, business gift certificates etc) this year. This is a huge part of the funds we raise for the school so all contributions will be appreciated. Please contact council if you need further information or have questions about contributions.
