LAFPI's Early March 2019 eBlast!

Meet the Instigators
The talent keeps on coming!

Jenny Winstead is a playwright, dramaturg, and literary researcher who runs the LAFPI Twitter account. Originally from Kentucky, she headed West after graduating and soon found herself fully immersed in the arts. When she's not leading K-12 playwriting workshops or advocating for wider representation onstage, she's feverishly eating chocolate and watching documentaries (if you have any good doc recommendations, send her a DM!). Say hi on Twitter at @TheLAFPI and send her your upcoming production blurbs, exciting new #lathr events, and/or anything else you think should be on our timeline! She's currently looking for other Twitter-savvy LAFPI folks who want to join the Twitter team -- if that's you, send her an email at lafpi.twitter@gmail.com!

March 8: Mark your calendars for our next LAFPI Night at the Geffen: BLACK SUPER HERO MAGIC MAMA by LA playwright Inda Craig-Galván. Starting at 7pm, we'll enjoy (complimentary!) drinks in the lobby with fellow writers as well as Geffen audience members who (surprise!) are curious about and want to hear from female playwrights. Then we'll enjoy this amazing world premiere, directed by Robert O'Hara.
