On this course, based on findings from the NIHR-funded SEED project, carers can learn how to be better prepared and supported to ensure quality of life and comfort for themselves and the person living with dementia. Behind the news
Welcome to our new visual identity
We are pleased to announce that on 5 February  the NIHR introduced a new, independent visual identity, to reflect our growing maturity as an organisation, the breadth of our work across public health and the nation’s health and care system, and the research we now undertake to benefit international development.

Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department of Health and Social Care, said “Over the last 12 years, the NIHR has transformed research in and for the NHS. The NHS and its patients continues to be at the centre of the NIHR, but it also has a critical role to play in public health and social care practice beyond the NHS. The new NIHR identity reflects that wider UK health landscape and also research the NIHR is funding to improve the health of the most vulnerable people in low and middle-income countries.”
