Curious about the SDG2 Advocacy Hub? Coalition Meets in Washington in March

AmeriCorps VISTA Spotlight: An Idea, a Posada, and Engaging the Latinx Community in Dayton, Ohio

When the Hall Hunger Initiative (HHI) discovered that 80% of Hispanic children in Dayton, Ohio are below the poverty line, we realized it was time to act... The team brainstormed culturally appropriate ways to engage and introduce the organization to the community. Two Great Opportunities from the Global Child Nutrition Foundation!

GCNF is proud to announce that U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern will receive the 2019 Gene White Lifetime Achievement Award for Child Nutrition -  recognizing his contributions in helping to end hunger and improve nutrition at home and around the world.

AmeriCorps VISTA

The Alliance to End Hunger is seeking full-time AmeriCorps VISTAs to support the work of building the public will to end hunger. The Alliance does this by supporting the Hunger Free Communities (HFC) Network. The HFC Network is the signature U.S. program of the Alliance to End Hunger. Made up of community-based anti-hunger coalitions, referred to as “Hunger Free Communities,” the network is comprised of 75 groups around the country.
